Abby's Bio

Abby Helander Hope was born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, a small mountain located in the Northern Panhandle. Abby has always been community-focused, as growing up her family owned a local athletic club in town. This was truly the origin of her passion for health and wellbeing and forming close-knit connections within the community. She attended Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo and completed her BA in Communication Sciences at Boise State University. She eventually returned to her hometown to support her parents in the sale and transition of their family business. Helander felt inspired to create a business of her own, hoping to give back to a community she felt so deeply connected to.

Two months after the sale of their family gym to the YMCA, Helander had attained her Real estate license and officially opened Property by Helander in January 2019. In her first year of business, Helander sold 12 properties, just over $3.5 million in real estate. Now, approaching just three years in business, Helander has sold over 68 properties totaling over 26 million in volume. Helander has on boarded 2 team members to help with business operations and she continues to share philanthropic efforts within her community. She has created the “7B Acts of Kindness” initiative, where on a minimum quarterly basis, she connects with local community members and businesses to give back and help support their initiatives. 

Above all, Helander focuses on helping home buyers new to the area navigate the community. Drawing on the large network that she has built over the years, Helander helps her clients acclimate easily. She is filled with a wealth of knowledge, people to build connections with and recommendations galore for the Greater Panhandle area. Each and every day, Helander aspires to pay it forward in an effort to keep her community a positive place.
